New Dylusions from Ranger

OK I love the quirky style of Ranger Signature Designer Dyan Reaveley and this new release for CHA 2012 has more of that gorgeous attitude.

First and to be honest the item I am most excited about with this release is the

Dylusions Journal
Announcing Dyan’s “perfect” journal — a combination of manila cardstock and matte white heavy cardstock ideal for the application of Dylusions Ink Sprays, and techniques using water, inks, paints and mediums. The journal cover is made from sturdy chipboard and filled with 64 unlined pages for endless paper crafting creativity.  I can't wait to try this one as I'm always looking for something that will handle being wet with grace - this looks promising!

Dylusions Book
The new “My Creative Journal Journey” book by Dyan Reaveley is just like having Dyan by your side, showing you how she creates her original art journal pages. The 8.5″ x 5.5″ book is chock-full of inspiration, step-by-step photos and instructions to walk crafters through inking, painting and journaling techniques.

 

Dylusions Stencils
The new Seasonal Dylusions Stencils are being added to the collection. There are four new designs in 9″ x 12″ and four new designs in 5″ x 8″.  Personally I love those stars and snowflakes.

and to round it off Dyan has also added four new stamp sets to her line of unique images. I think the Santa's mo is adorable!

BOOK REVIEW
This book was a real let down I'm afraid! it is VERY small 8.5 X 5.5 ins [A5 size) It is basically a catalogue for Ranger and Dylusions!
I love Dyan< I have been to numerous workshops with her in Harrogate. This book is sooooo at odds with what she will tell you at any workshop that you can create art without any special items. This book is all about Ranger and then some.
Technically there isnt anything new all can be found demonstrated by Dyan on Youtube etc.
If you think Ranger is a religion and can do no wrong whatever they peddle this is the book for you. If that isnt your view don't bother. I feel that Dyan has given up her integrity for this book and as one of her biggest supporters thats hard to take!
